Many times non-subject based blogs post amazingly hip notes on underground news going on in this great world or ours. The editor of the blog proves they are the thought leader in cool, providing tips to music, movies, and events that you the lowly and ill informed reader haven’t even heard of yet. But being unique and special is a really odd concept which is why many times I discuss ‘average’ things in my never-ending stride to be as typical as possible. Granted I can’t hide hip, evident in the JC Penny boots I’m rocking as we speak, but NaomiCanBlog specializes in highlighting worthless verbiage on mainstream music.

THUS, my thoughts on hat-loving Jason Mraz. Acording to a survey conducted in 2008 by myself, many (2 people I’ve randomly mentioned his name to) consider JM to be a certified tool. But there’s no denying he’s talented. His voice is a tad too sweet, and his smile is a tad too bright to motivate a cult following thus he’s been thrown unwillingly into the mainstream bucket. But if you check out his website he attempts to overcompensate this middling image with simplistic sketches that scream “I’m different, I’m artsy, I’m effortless in nature proven by the font on my website that looks like a drunk toddler designed it.” Truth be told, I know nothing about Jason Mraz. So little in fact that attempting to write a blog post about him has left me feeling tired and confused. HOWEVER there are two things I do in fact know about Mr. Mraz. One he loves nothing more than wearing graphic tees on stage, and two I’m obsessed with his song I’m Yours off the album We Sing.
